About this author

I love to write and work very seriously at it. Also I do not ever take myself too seriously. I think it's annoying and off-putting.

A word about my fiction:

My fiction is not easy on the heart. It will frighten you and shock you. You might never be the same after reading it.

But you know what? Maybe that's good. Perhaps I am doing my job. I'm not just dishing out novels to make up series, I'm giving you a piece of my soul.

I'm telling you, if you care to read my work, the dark side is evil! It always was. Satan is wicked, his demons are his servants.

No reward can await those who forfeit heaven for a taste of hell.

Most crucially of all because I write vampire fiction, I portray my vampires as VAMPIRES, yes they may be capable of love but it is...more

And when the river overflowed its banks, the land bore fruit for it was blessed. That blessing brought forth the first harvests.

I journeyed throughout the land, admiring the great pyramids t... Read more of this blog post »

“I think horror can and should be classy. I enjoy seeing it raised up not lowered down to the lowest common denominator.
There's prejudice against the horror genre and I think sometimes that's the fault of the authors involved.”
Carole Gill

“I looked out to see a forbidding place with granite walls and towering gates,
implacable barriers to be reckoned with, the words strung across the archway struck fear into
my confused mind:

MARSH LUNATIC ASYLUM.

This was my new home for now.”
Carole Gill

“In the attempt to find the just measure of horror and terror, I came upon the writing of Carole Gill whose work revealed a whole new dimension to me. The figure of the gothic child was there. Stoker's horror was there. Along with the romance! At the heart of her writing one stumbles upon a genuine search for that darkness we lost with the loss of Stoker."

~Dr. Margarita Georgieva ~ Gothic Readings in The Dark”

“There is no saint without a past, no sinner without a future.”
Augustine of Hippo

“Well, knowledge is a fine thing, and mother Eve thought so; but she smarted so severely for hers, that most of her daughters have been afraid of it since. ”
Abigail Adams

“Resentment is like taking poison and hoping the other person dies.”
Augustine of Hippo

“We are all born mad. Some remain so.”
Samuel Beckett

“A best-seller was a book which somehow sold well because it was selling well.”
