About this author

Bestselling speculative fiction author, creator of Egil and Nix, Erevis Cale, drinker of scotch, smoker of cigars, amiable dude. :-)

ADiscourseInSteel-largeThe mighty Tor.com has posted chapter one from my next novel, the second tale of Egil and Nix, the sword and sorcery bonanza (now with 27% more sorcery!), A Discourse in Steel.

It contains no spoilers so you should read it. And if you haven’t yet ordered Discourse, or read the first tale of Egil and Nix,The Hammer and the Blade, then you should hurry and do so, lest a terrible doom befall you. D...

Enjoyed the inversion. Was not hugely taken with the ending, but I still recommend the novel.

“Most people who deal in words don't have much faith in them and I am no exception--especially the big ones like Happy and Love and Honest and Strong. They are too elusive and far too relative when you compare them to sharp, mean little words like Punk and Cheap and Phoney. I feel at home with these, because they're scrawny and easy to pin, but the big ones are tough and it takes either a priest or a fool to use them with any confidence.”

Tyson Moore Paul,
first off thank you for all of you’re amazing works I’ve read so far, honestly I thought I would have a hard time finding an author that I enjoyed reading as much as I have R.A. Salvatore. because alot of the books from the realms are about wizards…. thats just not my thing. and well you blew me away! I’ve read eveything you have done that involves Erevis Cale and couldnt get enough, Jak Fleet and Drasek Riven are two of the most memorable characters I have ever come accross, I would love more back story on Riven! I’m currently reading the hammer and the blade and cant put it down.
I’ve never read anything from star wars would I enjoy it?
