Patrick Hester is an author, blogger and Hugo Nominated Podcast Producer/Host who was born in Chicago, IL grew up in Fresno, CA and now lives in Denver, Colorado. He writes science fiction and fantasy (mostly), and is represented by Bob Mecoy for his fiction. His Functional Nerds and SF Signal weekly podcasts have both been nominated for Parsec awards and the SF Signal podcast is nominated for a 2012 Hugo Award. He blogs at his site, ATFMB.com, for SFSignal.com, FunctionalNerds.com and has had columns on GraspingForTheWind.com and Technorati.com. He produces five podcast episodes a week including two for I Should Be Writing, the podcast for wannabe fiction writers hosted by Mur Lafferty.
