updated Jul 27, 2010 07:09pm
Description:
Dristann and Tiffany are actually part of a side-story in The Hero Chronicles, a side-quest, if you will, for those who are video game lovers. While important to the book, their story is one which holds an air of mystery. In their scenes, a lot is not stated directly; readers must piece together the mystery for themselves, until the end when all is revealed...

I enjoyed the way this book was written as a series of journal entries. It is a short, easy read with action from the beginning. The book is centered around Cheryl and Logan, the memory charmer, but also brings the elemental spirits into play, esp...

“Suddenly, something fluttered down from the nest to rest at Chasmira's feet. She picked it up- A phoenix father.
It glistened in the sunlight, and tracing her fingers along its edges, she marveled at its soft and delicate touch.
Extending it to Aaron, she said quietly, "They say a phoenix feather is a symbol of everlasting friendship.”

I read Enchanted Glass in April, or May I think and I really loved it. I'm trying to get a copy of Dogsbody as well along with other books of hers I don't have yet.

No, but I've seen it around Goodreads and it looks very intriguing! Have you read it? I also have to get my hands on a copy of "Dogsbody". I think it lookslike it would really end up being one of my favorites. The concept even inspired a book of my own, so I should definitely read it sometime!

I try to do that in my own writing as well. She is really an amazing author. Have you read her newest book, Enchanted Glass?
