This has absolutely nothing to do with "13 to Life" but is my prologue from my NaNoWriMo project. In this project (overall) I mess around with a very different set of characters and circumstances (and mythos) when compared to "13 to Life." This is also still a relatively rough draft. ;-) I'm listing the genre as "Literature & Fiction" mainly because I don't see a better choice...
