Nationally Bestselling author Tenaya Jayne has always walked a shaky line between reality and fantasy. A nomad by nature, she's lived all over the US, and now resides happily in the Midwest, with her husband and sons. She's an advocate for Autism awareness and women trapped in abusive relationships, and feels everyone has too much pain to not enjoy an escape into a fictional fantasy world. Her passions include reading, independent and foreign films, cooking, and moody music. For more about Tenaya and her books, visit www.tenayajayne.com

I don't have a top ten list, I might have to think about that. :)
Tears of the Moon by Nora Roberts is my all time favorite contemporary romance.
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, Gargoyle by Shelley Martin, Indelible by Dawn Metcalf, Phantom by Susan Kay, almost anything written by Tanith Lee, Vows of Revenge by J.F. Ridgley, and Perfume by Patrick Suskind are a few, off the top of my head, that have become favorites of mine in the last few years.
Thanks for the great question, Quinesia!

I hated the pace of this book. Too fast and then too slow. This was the first time I have read this author and I'm not sure if I will read her again. Nothing really stood out as special to me. I skimmed through a lot of it.

A little slow at times, but I liked it. I think the first book was better. This was a YA slant on her series. I prefer the adult ones more. All in all a good read. I've yet to pick up a book from this author that I didn't like.

“Her smile flashed cruelly in the darkness. “You’re right, I’m not for you. I belong to myself. And you, like all the others, think you could hurt me so easily. You’ve got it backward. The pain comes from me. I bring it. I make it. So if you’re going to run, run because you’re afraid of how I will hurt you. Not the other way around. And if you do run, don’t ever come near me again. Just because I’m strong doesn’t mean I want a man who’s weak.”
