His first book, THE FACULTY CLUB, is a wild blend of secret-society conspiracy thriller and sci-fi/fantasy that led #1 NYT Bestselling Author Brad Thor to write: "THE FACULTY CLUB is an intelligent, engaging, page-turner of a thriller that had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. This book was one hell of a good read and introduces thriller writing's hottest new author, Danny Tobey." And the Washington Post Book World said: ...more

Just wanted to say thanks to all the people who've read the book and taken the time to post a review or rating. It's pretty crazy putting a book out there and hoping people read it, so I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

Since my last post there have been a couple fun updates - first, an amazing review from the booklover's blog Rebecca's Reads, and another really nice one from the excell... Read more of this blog post »

The Faculty Club by Danny Tobey
"This is the young author's first book, and hope he writes more. It was fast moving - lots of action and mystery and a touch of the supernatural, and twists and turns. And even some touches of humor in the most unexpected places. "
" Hi Trilby - it took about three months for the first draft, writing full time. Edits took a lot longer - on and off over several months. "

“The desert could not be claimed or owned–it was a piece of cloth carried by winds, never held down by stones, and given a hundred shifting names... Its caravans, those strange rambling feasts and cultures, left nothing behind, not an ember. All of us, even those with European homes and children in the distance, wished to remove the clothing of our countries. It was a place of faith. We disappeared into landscape.”
Michael Ondaatje, The English Patient
