DIANE DETTMANN is the author of Courageous Footsteps A WWII Novel. Awarded winner in Pacific Rim Book Festival in YA Category! released June, 2015. Sequel Yasu's Quest coming summer 2016

She published her memoir,Twenty-Eight Snow Angels A Widow's Story of Love, Loss and Renewal in 2011.

Diane is also the co-author of Miriam Daughter of Finnish Immigrants.

She is a contributing author for the national Women’s Voices for Change organization in New York City. Dettmann's writing has appeared in various national publications.

Her memoir, Twenty-Eight Snow Angels, earned the Beach Book Festival Runner Up Award.

Diane was also honored as a Truthteller for her memoir by the international Women For One organization.
