Martha Steward lives in Northern California on the family farm. The animals great and small live on the farm are adopted or rescued. Inspired to write a series for families on pet adoption, blended family issues, and the courage to be a Marine Mum.

The second passion is supporting literacy groups for children and adults. “March 2012 Read Across America” My goal to discover positive websites, articles to help parents and their children; reading is a joy.. books provide an adventure to go and be a different persons. Writing has helped me with my dyslexia, and I know there are children who need encouragement ... they too can over come their challenges and find the pleasure to read and write.

Green Acres Report

Where have you been? One may ask….

Over the past several weeks, spring is abundant with green grass ripe for mowing, the barn is prepped for a fresh coat of paint. The geese have had their babies, and with 2 more female (doe) pigmy goats have arrived. The edible garden in the backyard is flourishing with large delicious artichokes, the squash is growing wild, the roses are in full bloom.
