New York Times bestselling author JoAnn Ross has written around a hundred novels for a bunch of publishers. Two of her titles have been excerpted in Cosmopolitan magazine and her books have also been published by the Doubleday, Rhapsody, Literary Guild, and Mystery Guild book clubs.

A member of the Romance Writers of America's Honor Roll of best-selling authors, she's won several awards, including Romantic Times's Career Achievement Awards in both category and contemporary single title.

Currently writing for NAL, JoAnn lives with her husband (her high school sweetheart, who proposed at the sea wall where her Shelter Bay book are set), and three rescued dogs, who pretty much rule the house, in the Pacific Northwest.

Friday Photos: Oregon Coast lighthouse

It's a two-fer today! Both Friday photos are from the Oregon Coast, where my Shelter Bay books are set. And where Sweetie and I are -- yay! -- looking forward to summer escapes! Some of you may recognize the top photo from my website header.
It did, btw, take me lots of tries and a couple trips to get the rotating light just where I wanted it! :)

I'm usually leery of debut books, because the idea is that an author should hopefully get better book by book. (Allowing for a few, that for one reason or another, don't end up as perfect as that ethereal vision writers have when ideas are first born...more
