As I sat in the drivers license renuewal line, and waited for at least an hour. I was thinking about all of the multi tasking that I do.
Women are especially good at it. We are constantly being a mother, wife, daughter, then add on teacher, nurse and chef.
As an indie writer/author, I now am a marketing guru, blogger, publisher and too many other things to mention.
That means I have to very good at time management or the days get lost and I could easily become overwhelmed.
I adhere to, OR at least attempt to keep to a schedule.
Writing has to be my top priority since if it isn't therre won't be anything to market or talk about!
I happen to think of it as having a job and that's the way that I treat it.
I also try to stick to a word count daily and that really keeps me on track.
Of course things come up, things that I don't expect, but although the schedule may change I still have it to keep me sane and on target.
Are there things that help keep you on task during the day?
Do you have any multi tasking tips to share?

I love talking to readers, you can contact me here, on facebook, friend me on my Elizabeth Loraine page, or 'like' my Royal Blood Chronicles page. Twitter follow @bloodchronicles

So excited to tell everyone that Lillian 2, The Mask, will be released on Amazon and Barnes and Noble on Wed. Aug. 22. I had so many requests to lengthen her story that I finally agreed, and I hope you enjoy it.
Lillian is a darker vampire story than Royal Blood Chronicles, still YA, just different, more traditional. In addition I am having a launch party on Wed. with giveaways on my Royal Blood Chronicles Facebook page here's the link. I'll be giving free ebooks, signed print of Katrina and Amazon gift cert.

I'm often asked what my style is and how I write.
Well that's always a complicated question for me.
I like to make my readers think a little bit, try to figure things out. Although I like a simple read sometimes, that's not how I write.
I can only explain it by saying that I really 'see' my stories and that means in kind of 3D. No ones life is simple or in 2D is it? Life is complicated and there are sub plots and a lot going on. It's what makes us who we are, it's what motivates us and so it motivates my characters too.
In life things don't always go as planned and people aren't always who they seem to be.
My mind works like a movie. The bad guys are over here doing this, while the good guys are doing something else. And there's everything in between. My job as a writer is to bring it all together, twisting everything until it makes sense and fills in the blanks, while letting the reader draw their own conclusion and not over explaining. Well I better get back to it.

I'm writing book nine of my YA series Royal Blood Chronicles.

What's your style?
