Annette Liem - in other words, me, er, I - is (am!) a freshman at McGill University, in the Bachelor of Science program. Because of that fact, writing (and reading) for pleasure is nearly impossible. Hopefully, though, the sequel to Wrath (can you guess what it is?) will be released soon, along with a brand new original series! (Huh, sounds like a Disney Channel advertisement.) But really, it will be awesome. (At least, I think so.)

Annette published Wrath when she was 14; it took her about 2 years. She took up writing because her brother was deployed overseas with the army, and sent to Iraq for about a year. She needed some type of outlet, and studying just wasn't cutting it. Even though her brother is now safe and sound, she keeps up the hobby. Her favorite genre of writing is fantasy, but she thinks her creative nonfiction is getting pretty good too. She is currently working on a Prince of Tennis knock-of--I mean, series related to, but not exactly about, a tennis team that makes it to Nationals by discovering that it means to truly be friends. She is also trying to write another fantasy story written in the perspectives of 3 different people. (Has this been done? If not...MINE! MY idea. As in, not YOURS.) She just needs to get the dates straight...

Annette Liem likes eating fruit and fruit-based desserts. She plays tennis, watches anime, reads manga, and enjoys playing Japanese RPGs. (...) Her favorite American cartoon is "Phineas and Ferb" (it used to be "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends") and her favorite reality show is "Amazing Race". The authors she looks up to the most are Christopher Paolini, Brian Jacques and, obviously, J.K. Rowling. Annette does not think vampires should sparkle. (I just lost 95% of my potential fanbase, didn't I? ...Does Vincent Valentine sparkle? No! ...Okay, he's not technically a vampire...) Not only that, but Annette is not a big fan of Romance novels. 'Nuff said. (Could it be the bitterness of never having a boyfriend? Of course not. I have Harvest Moon for that.)

(Oh, and to that 95% who are leaving my page and never looking back, at least I've read the first two, and am still planning on reading the last two. So, go direct your hatred to people who have never touched them and still judged. At least I have the common sense to try new things, THEN spew my opinion about it.)

Annette graduated 3rd of her class at Plattsburgh High School, and is trying very hard at McGill University, so that she can keep up with all her friends when they become famous, because she knows they will. She picked good friends, and she's glad they picked her.

Annette is on the path to becoming a doctor. ...She recommends everyone else NOT to follow her footsteps...they're stupid footsteps...and there are bear traps set around here called "midterms". She's got two tearing up her arm right now. Annette has never wanted to become a video game script writer more than right now.

Annette is now tired of refering to herself in the third person. She is going to sleep and try to dream about a world without exams.(less)

Killing me softly with their LOUDNESS

Hey, so it seems I blog only when I'm feeling particularly sarcasmo, also known as my witty (?) combination of "sarcastic" and "emo". ...Anyway, I was up until 11:30 last night studying bio flash cards. ...Fun stuff, citric acid cycle. Makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

If any of you are familiar with the Harvest Moon franchinse, you know half of it is farming, half of it is saving the Harvest Goddess, and the last half (...*cough*...) is finding someone to marry, having children, and making those li'l buggers do all the farming for you in you old age...at least, in Animal Parade. >:-D So...yeah, the main character is a girl, in this one, but if all goes well, I'll write one from a guy's perspective too.
