Born in 1989, Krishna Avendaño has published two poetry books so far. "Una ciudad transgénica" (Épica, 2009) and "Las teorías del silencio" (Red de los poetas salvajes, 2009). He has also won two honorable mentions in "Concurso de cuento histórico" organized by UIA (Universidad Iberoamericana).
He is currently studying Economics in Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Libertarian by nature, he has been always opposed to any kind of colectivistic understanding of society. In the field of political and economic essay he has won the first place in the international contest "Caminos de la libertad para jóvenes 2010" for his essay "¡Libertad!™" (Fredom!™) and an honorable mention in the contest "Caminos de la libertad para jóvenes 2009" for his text "Los hombres y las batallas" (The Men and the Battles).
