I was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, amongst a large extended family. Met and married a wonderful man in the early seventies. Together we have raised four children and assisted in the rearing of ten grandchildren.

While we moved often during the early years of our marriage, the hospitality industry has always offered us an open door for employment. It is a remarkable world where you have the opportunity of meet different and new people daily. At points, our children have crawled behind the front desk as we stood there selling another room. As they grew they discovered the value of being hospitable. It has given them the ability to go out and met new people, see new places and never fear that they may not fit in.

Description: Emma Chase is a married mother of 4, who's spent twenty years letting her Husband control her life. After purchasing china at a local swap meet, identical to her deceased grandmothers, Emma finds her normal life turned upside-down. Finding an inheritance of land/property none of her family knew anything about. Along with this new inheritance comes a new attitude on HER life, a local legend, divorce, new love, old friends, visions of the past, and a mysterious older woman who smells of roses. The legend says, "One person will join together the light and the dark, bringing peace back unto the world". Unfortunately, for Emma, that person appears to be her. Emma is only sure of one thing. She has found the place she and her family was always meant to call home.
