About this author

C.J. Darlington's first novel Thicker than Blood was the winner of the 2008 Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild Operation First Novel contest. Her second novel, Bound by Guilt, has recently released from Tyndale House.

C.J. has been in the antiquarian bookselling business for over a decade, scouting for stores similar to the ones she writes about in her fiction before cofounding her own online bookstore. After a homeschool education, she also cofounded the Christian entertainment Web site http://www.TitleTrakk.com She lives in Pennsylvania with her family.

A fabulous end to this renowned series. I was enthralled through every page and had tears in my eyes during the last. Kathy Tyers has truly created a masterpiece worth re-reading in the Firebird series, and Daystar is a rich, satisfying conclusion.
