R. L. Sloan is a south Texas native born in San Antonio, Texas, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, and trained Rape Crisis Volunteer. Child Welfare has been the focus of her career over the past 15 years. Paranormal Romance has been a favored genre of the author for several years, and Embellish is her first literary work.
