| OMG, one of the most explosive and emotional erotic romancees I've read in a long time. This book was nothing short of thrilling. I won't recap the plot - enough people here have done it, but my jaw was just hanging open about two-thirds of the way t...more | |

| This book totally captivated me! It was lush and wild and hot and dangerous and just 100% yummy. It kind of took my breath away. The sexy narrative galloped to the end. Everything worked here. The tale, the sex, the strange magical environment. For f...more | |

| The careful slow dance of these two characters as they get to know each other and slowly discover themselves was so wonderful. Not a big rollicking book, but one I cherished and learned a great deal from. Fabulous. | |

is on page 151 of 224 of Risky Christmas: I picked this up because I'm a big fan of Jill Sorenson's. Her story, Holiday Secrets, about a woman in witness protection, was awesome. Then I got sidetracked to another book, and I'm not familiar with the work of Jennifer Morey, the other writer here, so I never dipped into Morey's novella. Big mistake! I grabbed it running out the door for something to read in a waiting room, and wow. Loving. More to follow.

Ms (Mrs?) Crane, I am sorry to inform you I will have to send you an Assassin Cat in the Box if I cannot get my non e-reader hands on Head Rush. Especially after that cliff hanger. Here is a picture of said evil cat.
See how shifty he looks?!
P.S. I love your books & am quite looking forward to the day I get my hands on Head Rush. :)

Kitten wrote: "Hi Carolyn! Just wondering if you're planning on writing anymore series in the future??"Hey Kitten! Thank you for the question! Yes, I am busy working on two new series, one a lighter urban fantasy, one a dark yet quirky paranormal romance. They will both come out in one form or another - I should know more by spring on all that. And, there's the upcoming Simon enovella (Feb/March) which will be free to my newsletter subscribers for a week before it goes on sale. (I don't know if you're on the newsletter, but the link's at authorcarolyncrane.com if you want e-freebie Simon!)
Hi Carolyn, thanks for accepting my friend request. Your recs were fab. I'm looking forward to reading them all.
Carolyn wrote: "Thanks for inviting me to be GR friends, Erica! Also, very much loving your collection of Pratchett quotes."Thank you for accepting, Carolyn. And thank you for writing such a great series! I'm really looking forward to reading the next one! It is one of the best urban fantasies that I've read, and I really like the concept. I'm also looking forward to seeing what you enjoy to read.
I'm glad you enjoyed the Pratchett quotes. I love his humor!
Carolyn wrote: "Hey, I love all things pretty and Eric Northman, TOO!"Great minds, Carolyn, great minds!
And my 3 smiling faces thank you for your compliment! Look forward to sharing books and reviews with you. :D
PS The second half of Mind Games and Double Cross are still on my TBR as I seem to go from romance genre to romance genre like a crazy person!

I'm so so happy you are enjoying the series, and it means so much that you would write. *passes mug of coffee* I'm eager for December, too. Hey, have a great weekend!
Thanks for accepting my friend request. I just finished Double Cross and I had to jump out of bed to come tell you that I think I might hate you a little bit, but in a good way. Argh!!!! I cannot wait until December! I'm freaking dying here. I am in love with this series.
You're an author now! I remember back when it was all just starting. I'm now on the lookout for your series, looks great!
Carolyn wrote: "Hey you!! Thanks for inviting me to be GR pals."No problem, just doing my part to force you to stick around.
Hey my pleasure, thanks for the welcome. I'm only about half way through Double Cross, but so far it seems like it'll be just as fantastic as Mind Games. Great concept as well as execution. Count on me reading everything you write from now on.I can't help but stop and ponder it every time I come across that quote. Definitely an old favorite...
I'm such a dweeb. I only just noticed today that there is this friend comment box here that I can use. I've been messaging people all this time!!
