Al Braden is a environmental and outdoor photographer now working out of Austin, Texas. His current focus in on The Rio Grande/Rio Bravo and the Big Bend area of Texas.

Before moving in 2004, he worked extensively in New England and concentrated on the Connecticut River, resulting in a book published in 2009 by Wesleyan University Press.
