I really don't know God. What makes a book fire? I mean, what kind of book sparks flames in the mind? I feel like I'm on the edge of such...But I don't know. I won't know until I release it, I suppose.

I've been on and off this current project like a hot lover that always makes it hard to quit. And it wasn't easy starting and stopping TNT. There was just life in my face pulling me a... Read more of this blog post »

message 14: by Eva

Eva Leger I see you like Goines! Which is your favorite? I just finished Whoreson yesterday. I forget which one I have set to read next of his but I can't wait. Snapped is VERY good so far and I needed it! Brown is definitely one of the best IMO.
How is Midnight? I bought that when it came out and just haven't started it yet. But The Coldest Winter Ever is one of the BEST books I have ever read and probably will ever read. It surpasses all other urban fiction I've read in my entire life. I saw you told someone you didn't read too much of it? You just have to read it!

message 16: by Eva

Eva Leger Nice! I just checked the trailer out and it does look fresh - not the same old thing so many seem to be trying to pull off lately.
Do you have a listing on here yet that people can add? (That's how I don't forget about books - my memory is awful.) If you don't have a listing yet but have most of the info send it to me and I'll add the book so everyone can add it! I definitely want to check it out!

message 17: by Latasha

Latasha Hey Back..LOL

message 18: by Jaree

Jaree Francis No, I wish I did have the listing :( But I can keep you posted? I'm glad that you liked the trailer, that means a lot to me. What's on your reading to do list now? I have two books currently

message 19: by Latasha

Latasha Hey Jaree, Do you mind if I follow your blog?

message 20: by Eva

Eva Leger Sorry Jaree, unless the comment is typed on the persons page we don't get notified. Sincey you replied here I never knew you replied! That part of GR is so confusing - I think they should make the reply go directly to the other persons page - it would help communication immensely.
Anyway, I just read Derelict which was the last 50 book I had to read. It was okay, nothing special. I'm not reading any urban fiction but am I going to start Tu-Shonda Whitaker's new one, Millionaire Wives Club after I finish one. I started a memoir that I'm not getting into but I'm also reading a compilation of police stories that is very good. Most of them are just plain shocking with some disgusting, sad and hilarious thrown in. I have a Holocaust survivor story I'm starting too (I read a lot of those.)
I need to start Midnight. Most of the people I've talked to said it could have been a lot better and they didn't think it worked being the prequel to TCWE. I can't imagine it's anything less than amazing after reading TCWE though so I need to see for myself!
(If you reply to this type it in on my page so I'll get the email notification. I have so many friends on here that it's hard to check up on a conversation! lol)
