About this author

Award Winning Author

My debut book was a true crime. I am proud to announce "Fighting the Devil" was the 2011 NATIONAL INDIE EXCELLENCE AWARDS TRUE CRIME FINALIST and 2010 BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARDS TRUE CRIME WINNER.
My other true stories - "I Saw the Light", "Thomas, the Friendly Ghost", "Forever in My Heart", and my color illustrated children's book, "The Rain Snake".
"Fighting the Devil" is a True Crime about the excruciating arsenic murder of my millionaire ex-husband. I became a sleuth and played a key role in helping law enforcement solve the murder.
The motive for the murder was: Wickedness and unscrupulous Old Fashioned Greed.
I wrote the true crime to speak for my children's father as he no longer has a voice.

Jeannie Walker Pat wrote: "Have you read The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls and if so your thoughts please. Thank you"

Yes, and I certainly can relate to Jeannette and her experiences. I know what it is like dealing with a dysfunctional family and being somewhat of an outcast. I can remember eating nothing but oatmeal for almost 3 years because that was all I could afford. I know it took a lot of courage for Jeannette to write the book and to be so honest.

Jan C I just tried one of your trivia questions "Did anyone else get arsenic poisoning in this murder case?"

One problem: you didn't identify the book.

Just thought I'd let you know.

I guessed wrong. It was a 50-50 proposition.

Donald Parker Thanks for the friend invitation, Jeannie! What an honor to see you've added one of my books to your TBR pile. I can send you a free copy of the ebook - if you'd like.

Ed Rambeau Thanks for accepting my friend request, Jeannie. You seem like an interesting person, so feel free to tell me more about yourself and perhaps we can grow to become even greater friends. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's.

Regards, and have a great day, Ed
