About this author

After years of acting in Shakespeare’s plays, Christy English is excited to bring the Bard to Regency England in the re-telling of The Taming of the Shrew, How To Tame A Willful Wife. When she isn’t acting, roller skating, or chasing the Muse, Christy writes historical novels (The Queen’s Pawn and To Be Queen) from her home in North Carolina. Christy English I really enjoyed it...I recommend it Stephanie. It's a good one...

Stephanie I can't wait to see what you think of The Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory. Everytime I go into B&N I go straight to it and check it out. I entered it to win on Goodreads-Giveaways. If I don't win it I'm going to put it on my wish list for Christmas. :)

Christy English Stephanie wrote: "Wow! You ARE busy! We are all doing wonderful! I'm looking forward to hearing about the novel you are working on. :)"

Thank you Stephanie. I am in the middle of a romance series that sets Shakespearean comedies in Regency England. I am having a ball... :)

Stephanie Wow! You ARE busy! We are all doing wonderful! I'm looking forward to hearing about the novel you are working on. :)

Christy English Stephanie wrote: "Hey Christy! We miss seeing you on Ladies & Literature!"

I miss you guys too! I am wildly revising one novel while writing another. I'll be back more after the holidays, once my deadlines have calmed down. It has been a wild summer and fall, but I am loving it.

I hope you are all well. Blessings on you!

Stephanie Hey Christy! We miss seeing you on Ladies & Literature!

Christy English There is so much out there about Eleanor...and I am so glad...she truly is amazing...

I. Love goodreads...I have met so many lovely people on it...

Alycia I can tell you love Eleanor :) I have not read a novel about her before To Be Queen, but after I definitely wanted to read more.

I do love GR too and all the wonderful people and authors that I have met.

Christy English Alycia, I am so glad you read and liked TO BE QUEEN. I am completely devoted to Eleanor...can you tell? :) I am excited to hear that you are going to be diving into THE QUEEN'S PAWN...Eleanor is older in that novel, with a little more bitterness, but she is still her amazing self. Nothing gets her down. I truly admire her.

I am so happy to be friends with you on Goodreads. I love this site!

Alycia Thank you for the friendship Christy! I just read To Be Queen and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to reading The Queen's Pawn. :)
