I like to blame it on the number of books I read, rather than the black hole in my memory! Now and then I read one that sticks with me long after I've read the last page, and I'm humbled you feel that way about one of mine.
Thank you for accepting my friend request - So far I have only read Enemies and Playmates but it was one of my most memorable 2012 reads (mainly because I tend to forget books as soon as I've read them, unless prompted; E&P I can actually remember of my own accord!). I'm really looking forward to reading more of your work and seeing from your reviews what kind of books you enjoy too!
