Lian Tanner is a children's author and playwright. She was born in Tasmania and has lived there most of her life, except for three years teaching in Papua New Guinea. Her fantasy novel Museum of Thieves is Book 1 in The Keepers Trilogy, and winner of the 2010 Aurealis Award for Children's Fiction. Museum of Thieves is currently published in the USA, Australia, India and Germany, and is being translated into Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesian, Thai, Bulgarian and Turkish. City of Lies will be published in 2011, and Path of Beasts, in 2012.
