Contemporary fiction writer, Rose Senehi, is noted for weaving environmental themes into her romantic thrillers. Her third "stand-alone" novel,"Render Unto the Valley" released January 2012. Her 2nd in the series, "The Wind in the Woods" was a finalist for the Thomas Wolfe Memorial Award. Her 1st, "In the Shadows of Chimney Rock," was a finalist for the SIBA 2009 Book of the Year. All three novels are part family saga,part mystery, and part love story."Pelican Watch," which takes place on a barrier island off the South Carolina coast, was published in 2006, "Windfall" in 2002, and "Shadows in the Grass" in 2001."
