I am currently working on a few book projects, including:

A catalog of the early history and legacy of student-run shows at Dynamic Media Institute. This book is tentatively called 'The Curation of a Culture' and, as is usual for me, I've had the cover designed well before the actual content can realistically come together. This is still in the early stages of development, but I hope to ramp up the momentum.

A re-written, more focused look at my graduate design thesis work and research. I've basically pulled the fourth 'stream' of my work from MassArt out of 'confounded' to really hone in on my design explorations around performance art, laughter and cyberSurrealism. As a 'late bloomer,' I feel that even though my thesis writing came to the finish line late and delayed, I still wasn't ready to truly focus in the proper way to write an engaging, meaningful and fully-focused design thesis on the subject of 'humor, laughter and the areas in-between,' which to me, now in retrospect, feels like the most important 'new' area in design that taught me the most about who I am and what tools I can use as I move forward in life as a designer and as an individual person within the context of our social organism.

And finally, as started well before 2008, I am hoping to compile more strange and sarcastic, darkly humorous poetics centered around the language of love oh so aptly entitled '69 Love Poems for MiLFs'. I need to take the work far less seriously and just crank out the last 63 or so poems, right? But these are so meaningful and twisted in such a wonderfully perverse way. If you hadn't guessed it yet, I believe in 'taking time' — or as I like to think of it — investing the appropriate time, if not more time, into the projects that I find the most valuable. So, this one's bound to be an underground { or more truthfully expressed — 'unknown' } classic in poetry and prose. I am looking forward to the last batch of subconscious chunks of truth that emerge on the ocean horizon as they come to me. Not fun for the whole family or anything, but fun for those looking for truth through humor and the poetic.(less)

“A game: say something. Close your eyes and say something. Anything, a number, a name. Like this (she closes her eyes): Two, two what? Two women. What do they look like? Wearing black. Where are they? In a park. . . . And then, what are they doing? Try it, it's so easy, why don't you want to play? You know, that's how I talk to myself when I'm alone, I tell myself all kinds of stories. And not only silly stories: actually, I live this way altogether.”
André Breton, Nadja

“Beauty is like a train that ceaselessly roars out of the Gare de Lyon and which I know will never leave, which has not left. It consists of jolts and shocks, many of which do not have much importance, but which we know are destined to produce one Shock, which does...The human heart, beautiful as a seismograph...Beauty will be CONVULSIVE or will not be at all.”
André Breton, Nadja

“The important thing is that man is lost in time, in the moment that immediately precedes him - which only attests, by reflection, to the fact that he is lost in the moment that follows”
