Gail A David,

Hi, I just wanted to let you know I had know idea where your reply to my messages were until today. Believe it or not I had know idea they were just below this comment box. You see how slow I am. Oh well.

Sure, being friends here on GoodReads is great. Did you ever recieve my comments in regards to your books? My favorite was "Robby" I cried.

If I am remembering correctly you are near the end of another publishing, aren't you? Let me know how it goes.

Gail A.

Gail A Say, David J, Gail again. I meant to comment about Ivy's poem that was entered into the July contest in my last e-mail to you and forgot.

Anyway, I thought it was super great and can't believe they would not have choosen her poem, "Poetry" as the winner. Like you, I believe it was the best!

Am I to understand they narrowed it down to five? I did not see her poem amoung them.

Gail A.

Gail A David J, how's it going? Last night I was re-reading the comment sent to me about the July contest and when I wanted to make a comment or vote it would not let me. Why? And if there is a date I need to watch for before they stop the voting process do you know what they are. When do they send the voting process out so I don't miss it?

I am coming along very slow with all this. Just realized I could be writing you for some questions since you have been doing this longer than I have. I'm full of questions right now, I hope you don't mind. Here's another, when some one is (following) your comments, how does that work?

Oh, and I got your books yesterday. Thanks soooo much. It's very kind of you. Beautiful day out today so I hope to sit in the shade later and read them. Your poem that was in the July contest, by the way, was great. Is it in one of your books, I assume?

Take care,
Gail A.

David Delaney G'day Aly, basically what I said was I love seeing young people enjoying poetry & every now & then I select someone to send my book to & Aly I would like to send my book (signed) to you. I never had the chance of schooling the young have today, I left school at 15 years old & ionly in December 2006 I started writing poetry, virtually taught myself. I know one has to be careful of who you communicate with on the net but if you need more information, please, don't hesitate to google my name David J Delaney. My book "Rhymes of Times has sold very well worldwide but especially here in my home state of Queensland, to give you an idea of how big Queensland is, Kentucky fits into Queensland 31.96 times. So it would be my honour to send to you my book thus you & your friends can enjoy some Australian "bush" poetry & general poetry & as I mentioned no strings & no monies, just any address you would like me to send my book to, could even be your schools address if you like.
I hope we can be friends, at least on good reads anyway.
Dave.

Aly ♫♫♫ Hello,

I did not get a chance to really read the comment you had attached when you asked to be my friend. Could you please repeat?

~PEACE~Aly
