About this author

Colleen S. Harris was born and raised on Long Island in New York. She attended Centre College in Danville, KY where she graduated with a BA in Economics and a BA in International Relations. She received her MLS degree from the University of Kentucky, and her MFA in Writing from Spalding University. She works as a librarian on the faculty of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she continues to wrangle research, write poetry, and occasionally teach freshmen how to appreciate the art of a fine line break.



My last post here was more than a year ago - June 2012. During that neglect, there have been some mighty big changes in my world. They have largely put my creative writing on hold until now, but I'm excited to be getting back to it.
