  <about><![CDATA[Annette Dunlea is the author of Always and Forever and The Honey Trap. She is currently writing her third book Cry of the Quiet a coming of age tale about a girl's life in a Catholic orphanage. Her author website is http://www.annettedunlea.com. 

She is an ex-teacher, bookseller and librarian. She is a past postgraduate of University College Cork and Aberystwyth University, Wales. She has three university degrees and has numerous computer qualifications. She is small at five foot two inches with long blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. She is one of five children with two sisters and two brothers, all live in Ireland. She has a funny and vibrant personality. She loves to read all genres of fiction and researches all her own material and reads a lot almost like a professional reader. She writes from 6pm teatime until 4 am the following morning. She sleeps until 2 pm every day and then does her administrative work by day. She has written a novel and an anthology of poetry and is currently working on her second novel on supernatural love. Her writing records present and past days of Ireland in fictional settings with interesting characters and plots with twists and turns. Her poetry is factual, humorous and rhymes. Her philosophy is to entertain, amuse but never to bore or misinform. This is the consequence of years as a teacher. She writes contemporary Irish fiction.

Writing preference : poetry or novels

Writing Program: I write on my laptop by day in the conservatory in my cottage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with the ships passing and the planes flying overhead. I find the sea view and landscaped garden a tranquil and peaceful setting to write. I often play with music in the background and prefer to work into the late hours of the night.
First Novel: It is about feminism and the strength women can draw for each other and the lengths they will go to, to protect their children and family. It is dedicated to mum who believed in me even I struggled as a writer.
