about this author
Adventure, mystery and heroes have always fascinated and thrilled me. That, and my love of the sea, has led me to create my marine mystery crime novels all set against the backdrop of the sea on the south coast of England. The series features the flawed and rugged detective, Inspector Andy Horton. I am also the author of two stand alone crime novels, In Cold Daylight shortlisted for the World Book Day Prize 2008 and In for the Kill. Tide of Death was chosen by Amazon.co.uk as the Best of British Crime Fiction 2006 and The Suffocating Sea was selected by The Book Depository as one of the top ten Best of British Crime Fiction 2009. Dead Man's Wharf was given a star rated review by Kirkus in 2009 and hailed as an 'exemplary procedural' and Booklist have likened my writing to the crime novels of Ed McBain. I am also the author of several marketing, sales and communication books.
A member of the Crime Writers' Association of Great Britain and the Society of Authors.
