First of all, thank you so much for your question, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the Geraldine Steel series! It's probably too late to answer now, but I'd say it doesn't really matter. I've been very fortunate that my publisher likes to offer me multiple book deals, so as soon as one manuscript is written, I'm on to the next book without a break. Now that I'm writing two series, I'm delivering two manuscripts a year. It keeps me busy - and there's no time to worry about writer's block! For writers who don't have externally imposed deadlines, setting your own deadlines might help.(less)
