About this author

I'm the author of several novels whose stories have also appeared in a variety of anthologies. My novelette ADAMSON'S ROCK won Honorable Mention in the Writers of the Future Contest. I have a good sense of humor and am a lot of fun at parties.

Be sure to check out my latest novel, THE MOUND (Exigua Publishing, October 2014), in which faeries are real, boys can fly, and true love conquers all.

In terms of other stuff, from the humorous DICK LONDERGAN CHRONICLES to the pirate adventure SWASH! to the vampires of APPLEWOOD and the zombies of NEARLY and SINCERELY DEAD, you're sure to find something you like. As always, thanks for taking a look.

For example, I've long been intrigued by the ancient mounds found throughout New England. But those ideas synthesized with others rattling inside my head, not least of which was the the 2007 unveiling of the Tulsa, Oklahoma "time capsule." To say more might be to give things away, but once you read the book, I suspect you'll understand! (less)

You're not going to write anything unless and until you put your ass in that seat and start writing. Something. Anything. Your shopping list. The dream you had last night. Your fantasies. I think you'll find that once you start exercising that brain to finger to keyboard connection, the rest will come.(less)

So a tragic, but interesting thing happened over the weekend. David Goldberg, a 47-year-old Silicon Valley entrepreneur (and husband of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg) died “suddenly” while on vacation with his family. When I saw the news, I clicked on a few articles, and was struck immediately that no mention was made in any of them of exactly how he died. And the reason it struck me was because...
