<about><![CDATA[Kim Woodburn was born Patricia Mary MacKenzie, in Eastney, near Portsmouth on 25 March 1942 to an abusive alcoholic mother and an absent and uncaring father. She left home at the age of 16 to escape the constant abuse from her mother, Pat, and Pat's live-in boyfriend and father of Kim's many half brothers and sisters, Mac. Before becoming a presenter on `How Clean is Your House?', she had worked, among other things, as a beautician, a social worker and, for the past 20 years, as a cleaning lady. She lives in Kent with Peter, her second husband, to whom she has been married 24 years. Kim has no surviving children, having given birth to a stillborn son in February 1966.]]></about> <gender>female</gender> <born_at>03/25/1942</born_at>
