About this author

Hillary S. Webb is the Managing Editor of _Anthropology of Consciousness_, the peer-reviewed journal of the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness. She earned a PhD in Psychology from Saybrook University in 2009 and an MA in Consciousness Studies from Goddard College in 2006. She is the author of _Yanantin and Masintin in the Andean World: Complementary Dualism in Modern Peru_ (University of New Mexico Press, 2012),_Traveling Between the Worlds: Conversations with Contemporary Shamans_ (Hampton Roads, 2004), and _Exploring Shamanism_(New Page Books, 2003). She lives in Southern Maine.
