<about><![CDATA[I am a publisher and the owner of Medusa's Muse Press, a small, independent press located in Northern California. In 2007, my press published Laura Fogg's memoir, Traveling Blind: Life Lesson's from Unlikely Teachers, which is about her 30 years as a teacher of visually impaired children and what her students taught her about life. This year I self-published a handbook called What You Need to Know to Be a Pro: The Start-Up Business Guide for Publishers, which is focused on the business requirements of starting a press. I hope this book will help others start their own thriving, indy press.

Medusa's Muse is currently publishing an anthology of Punk Rock stories, scheduled for Spring, 2010.

When I'm not publishing, I write plays and short stories and am currently working on my own memoir. I'm also a mom and a grad student. Yeah, I'm a little busy.
