AUTHOR BIO: Ellen Graf writes out of rural upstate New York where she lives with her husband Zhong-hua Lu. Her first book, The Natural Laws of Good Luck: A Memoir of an Unlikely Marriage, was released by Shambhala publications on August 11, 2009, with the paperback due out on November 9, 2010. The book has been selected for Barnes and Noble’s Discover New Authors promotion, Border’s Original Voices program, and is an Indie Next List Notable pick for September 09. A graduate of Bennington Writing Seminars in Non-fiction, Ellen is a Ludwig Volgelstein grant for writing and a recipient of the 2009 NYFA Fellowship in Non-fiction. Her work appears in the anthologies Millennium Writings 2010, Right There With You, (Shambhala Publications 2011), This I Believe: On Love (2011), in the online magazine Vocabula.com, and upcoming in the Oct/Nov issue of Shambhala Sun.
