| Not great Lowell. The plot is pretty far-fetched, and the characters not as compelling as some of her others. Still, it moves right along. | |

| Massive and detailed oral history of SNL. Fascinating at first, but it gets a little repetitive by the end. After a while the whining about Lorne Michaels not appreciating somebody or other gets a little tired. | |

| The initial premise takes a certain amount of "willing suspension of disbelief", but the actual story is a lot of fun. This is one of Roberts' "mystery/thriller" books rather than straight romance. | |

| This is a typical Amanda Quick, which isn't a problem really. The concept of the fatal gardens is clever, although more could be done with it. If you're a fan, you'll enjoy it. | |

| An interesting blend of classic and modern. It's not as revolutionary as some critics claim, but it's appealingly creepy. And the ending is stunning. | |

| A fitting ending to a great trilogy. Black Jack is a wonderful hero, and the conclusion is satisfyingly complex. | |

| Interesting mixture of voices and POV. Maron brings her two series--Sigrid Harald and Deborah Knott--together seamlessly. I have some quibbles with the ending, but overall a good addition to both series. | |
“Warmth pooled in her belly, and spiraled through her body. Her breasts, her abdomen, her knees. Her knees? She'd never really had an orgasm in her knees before.”

I’m a fairly eclectic romance reader. Although there are a few genres I don’t read much, I’m open to most of them and I’ve sampled lots. There’s one big exception, though: I’m just not a fan of time travel.
