Jayda Harrison, a home school graduate, lives in Georgia. She is a poet and short story writer, and the author of eight completed manuscripts. She is currently working on writing several different books. Interests include writing, reading, debating, politics, and singing. Harrison is an active member in the LDS Church. Additionally, she serves as a 9-12 Member-Teen Instructor and as a co-moderator for several GOODREADS online groups. Her favorite genre is romance and action, but she loves to experiment with writing other genres.

Description:
I'd never thought this could really happen to me. As I stood on that pier, the waves crashing against the wood beneath me, the lightning flashing in the distant water as the storm clouds approached I watched him walk away, almost as if with no regret. He stood up straight and as he turned I thought I saw the hint of a smile on his lips. I couldn't believe it. He was gone.
