R.F. Long always had a thing for fantasy, romance and ancient mysteries. The combination was bound to cause trouble. In university she studied English Literature, History of Religions and Celtic Civilisation, which just compounded the problem.

Her YA dark fantasy romance The Treachery of Beautiful Things is coming on 16th August 2012 from Dial Books.

Her Holtlands novellas The Wolf’s Sister: a Tale of the Holtlands and The Wolf's Mate, and her novels The Scroll Thief: a Tale of Ithian and Soul Fire are now available from Samhain Publishing. The Scroll Thief came out in print on 1st December 2009 and Soul Fire on 1st May 2010. Songs of the Wolf a paperback edition containing the first two Holtlands stories came out in December 2010.
