I’m a Dubliner living in Wicklow and I’ve been making picturebooks for over twenty years.
I’ve written and illustrated picture books with various UK and US publishers– Izzy and Skunk (Bisto Book of the Year 2001) I’m a Tiger Too, You, Me and the Big Blue Sea (Bisto Book of the Year Award 2003), I am I, There (Bisto Book of the Year 2010) and three books in the Sillybillies series. I have also illustrated several books by other authors. My books have been translated into many languages including German, French, Italian, Dutch, Finish, Norwegian and Korean.

I like to use the picturebook form to explore emotions and observe the moments that turn and shape us as children.
