She was sailing calmly
The sea is filled with shouts
Of the dead the living will now do without
Behold! The unsinkable Titanic
has sunken.

This story managed to tie in quantum physics, ghosts, time travel, first loves, and Emily Dickinson. A beautiful, creepy story.

Night of the Living Lawn Ornaments by Emily Ecton

Emily's dry wit makes this story of living lawn ornaments truly unique and hysterical. There were even a few plot twists and a few touching moments that were pleasant surprises thrown in the mix. Good stuff for ages 9 - 13.
