| Intricate and somewhat interesting. It was a page-turner, but ultimately I am not keeping it because I am picky about my sci-fi. I don't really recall seeing my spelling or grammar errors. =) | |

“War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.”

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”

Once again, thank you for your support.

Hi Bradley,I am new to Goodread and to your friendship as well. I am the author of Billion Dollar Winner. It is the story of a Chicagoan and community activist who was the biggest protester against the lottery games. The state of Illinois gets involved in a nationwide lottery, the prize grows to be worth one billion dollars and my character comes to possess the winning ticket even though she has never bought a lottery ticket in her life.
I would very much like for you to review my book. Hit me back at blacksidepress@gmail.com with info on how I can send you a copy of my book. I'm asking you because I like reviewers who don't give good marks to all their reviews. That seems suspicious when every book is 5 stars.
Let me know and thanks.
Arlene
PS: I'm a big girl and can take criticism.

Hello! :)No problem.
How are you then?
Im not sure how comments work on this site cause I haven't really used them much. Do I reply to your msg or just write on your wall for you to know I've sent you one?

Ah that is good, i was just wanting to say hello, i have been super busy latly, so i haven't been able to say hi to anyone....
You have no idea! I have no idea how I got so into fantasy and sci-fi, but I am glad I did. Love it.I am sure that having two brothers and no sisters had something to do with it. Didn't know you were an author, though. Is it a fantasy novel that you wrote? I like your profile pic, btw. it looks like something out of the elfquest comic series :). Thanks for accepting my friend request.

Hi Bradley, I'm pleased to meet you and look forward to discussing books with you. If you ever have any questions about any of the titles on my shelves or about eHarlequin.com and all it has to offer, please ask. I'll be happy to answer. I’ll also update news when I can for example; did you know that in March Silhouette Desires will be putting out their 2000th book? The authors are celebrating with a special blog on eHarlequin.com :).
