About this author

H.G. Martin was born a long time ago in Sacramento, California. When he was a boy he wanted to be a comic book artist but, being left-handed, kept smearing the work with the palm of his hand.

He went through a wanna-be rock star phase in college, but found it too difficult to gauge the correct number of beers to drink during a concert. Too few and he had stage fright, too many and he started forgetting the words.

In his early thirties he discovered that his true calling was writing stories. He has been at it ever since.

Like most writers, Martin has a day job in order to keep the wolves away from the door. He has been a software test engineer for the past twenty-four years. In that time he has been able to work on many interesting projects in...more
