Sean Barrett and Dermot Crowley is awesome. Molloy is an amazing character, but I'm a little bogged down. Have to be in the right mood for such crotchety introspection.

A quirky literary thriller, about politics in a fictionalized St Louis. Not in the same "human drama" category as "Corrections" -- less serious, but more purely entertaining.

Franzen's writing is painfully good. I find his ability to pick the scabs off relationships, especially around parent-child, to be very courageous.
