Ade Nastiti adalah nama pena dari Ade Siti Barokah. Sejak kecil cita-citanya sederhana, ingin berkelana dan menyentuh salju. Impian ini terpenuhi ketika ia dan keluarganya mengunjungi Snowy Mountain di Australia tahun 2000. Perjalanan itu membawa kesan mendalam hingga menyeretnya pada impian berikutnya, mengetahui lebih jauh kehidupan masyarakat di daerah pegunungan.

Sepuluh tahun kemudian, Agustus 2010, ia berkesempatan mengunjungi Ladakh, salah satu kawasan paling tinggi di dunia dan membaur dengan masyarakat setempat.
