about this author
Lisette Brodey was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. After high school, she moved to New York City where she attended Pace University and studied drama. After 10 years in New York, several of them working in the radio industry, she moved to Los Angeles for four years, where she held various positions at Paramount Studios in Hollywood and CBS Studio Center in Studio City, CA.
Back in Philadelphia for many years, she worked as a freelance writer, specializing in PR and the entertainment industry (with several clients based in LA). In 2010, she returned to Los Angeles.
In 2008, she published her novel, CROOKED MOON. In June 2009, she published her first-written novel, SQUALOR, NEW MEXICO, a coming-of-age story shrouded in family mystery. (A second edition with a brand new cover was published in August 2010.)
Her third novel, MOLLY HACKER IS TOO PICKY, in the women's fiction genre, was published (ebook edition) on December 1, 2011. (The print edition is forthcoming). Lisette blogs as her character, Molly Hacker, at www.mollyhacker.com. (These blogs are also linked to this GR profile.)
