My Infinite Games Series - The Marshlanders, Fly Out of the Darkness, The Road to Beaver Mill and the Battle for the Black Fen - are my way of asking those questions and suggesting answers to them. My Marshlanders seek harmony with nature and each other. Their enemies want to drain their wetlands for exploitation and profit.

That’s What I’m Writing — Speculative Fiction!
I must be the only novelist in the world who didn’t figure out what genre I was writing until I had finished a whole trilogy! But that’s exactly what happened. I’ve been gleefully sitting down at my computer every morning to find out what Clare and William and their Marshland friends and allies are up to that day without a care in the world about w... “The best-remembered teachers are the tough ones, who discipline our intellects for the longest journeys.”
Annis Pratt

“You are at my side, dear friends, and God is everywhere. Yet ultimately we are alone, making our way home by the candle of the heart. The light is steady and sure but extends only far enough to see the next step.
Many times the light seems to go out. But another light, one held by a stranger or friend, a book or a song, a blackbird or a wild flower, comes close enough so that we can see our path by its light. And in time we realize that the light we have borrowed was always our own.”
