I like to write about things that really capture my interest in order to throw myself whole heartedly into the subject matter and develop a story around it. I spent 12 months in Australia and it was there that I developed an interest in Australia's history. Inspired by what I discovered, I wrote 'Bound to Sarah'.
My second novel 'When the Cherry Blossoms Fall' is about the the seven day Blitz on Liverpool in May 1941.
I live in Liverpool with my wife and son and I'm currently working on another novel.

" Catch-22-cover-1 v2

A shiny new batch of awesome for my "all time favorite" shelf. It has been awhile since I’ve so throughly enjoyed reading a novel that has, at the same time, left me as intellectually awestruck as Joseph Heller’s classic sermon on the insanity of..." Read more of this review »

Gary Catch 22 is awesome! What I love about it is....you can pick it up,and at random , turn to any page, read it,and laugh outloud at the quips made by the main character, or the absurb situation of the event at hand.....I just love it. I have a t shirt with the british bookcover...... you should order one too......http://shop.outofprintclothing.com/Pr...
