About this author

Tina Connolly lives in Portland, Oregon, in a house that came with a dragon in the basement and blackberry vines in the attic. Her stories have appeared in Lightspeed, Tor.com, Strange Horizons, and Beneath Ceaseless Skies. Her first fantasy novel, IRONSKIN (Tor 2012), was nominated for a Nebula, and the sequel COPPERHEAD is now out from Tor. She narrates for Podcastle and Beneath Ceaseless Skies and runs the Parsec-winning flash fiction podcast Toasted Cake. She likes re-reading books and eating pie for breakfast (preferably at the same time.)

If you're near Portland, come see me TONIGHT for the release party at Powells Cedar Hills at 7pm. I'm even planning to make cookies! And of course, read from the first chapter, do Q&A, and sign books. I'm very friendly, I promise. Come say hi.

I've been really thrilled by the positive res... Read more of this blog post »
