About this author

On a crazy dare, I wrote a book and suddenly a lark became a passion. Now, with over 29 books to my name including the bestselling Witness Series featuring Josie Bates and the USA Today Best Seller KEEPING COUNSEL.

I'm long married to a Superior Court judge (we met in high school) and am the mother of two creative sons. Alex is in film and Eric is a playwright and just published his first novel, Immortal L.A.. I am also a proud grandma of Tucker-the-dog. I've been fighting for joint custody, but Alex will only allow visitation.

Before I began my creative career, I earned my B.A. and MBA and worked as an advertising executive. I have taught at the UCLA Writers Program, SEAK conference and other writing venues. I also volunteer with the Young W

In the back of the house, my office was a jumble of writing stuff, girl stuff, and stuff that I swear elves put in there while I was sleeping. This stuff included: a sewing machine, giant posters of my book covers from the days of bookstore signings, two sweaters my grandmother knitted, reams of paper in rainbow colors left over from my children’s grammar school/craft days (they are now 27 and...

“Crime was like litter tossed on the highway: once it was shoved out the window the only ones who cared were the ones close to where it landed.”
Rebecca Forster, Before Her Eyes

“He hadn't actually lied to her about anything; she had erred in her assumptions about his life. What Archer knew about Josie was what she chose for him to know; what she knew about him was what he decided to tell her. They had reveled in their independence and now she knew that was a mistake. Understanding that made her feel lost. It was natural for a lover to believe she knew everything - intuitively, instinctively and intimately - about the man she had committed to. Wasn't it?”
Rebecca Forster, Silent Witness

“Hannah had a future if she could just settle down.”
Rebecca Forster, Hostile Witness

Greer Noble Rebecca I stand in awe! 25 books, my word! And you're so gorgeous :-) You now have another fan! May I humbly introduce you to my two books and another, my first non-fiction and a work in progress. Although Veiled Madness would probably be more up you alley, Checkmate is a very quick read. I'd be so honoured if you'd scan either and tell me what you think.. my blog http://greernoble.com/blog.html Can't wait to read yours. Tell me which one as I still have a pile of author friend's books I've been asked to review next to my bed which I'm sure you do too, only on a much larger scale? How you still get time to lecture I don't know! Veiled Madness by Greer Noble

Julie Achterhoff Thanks for linking up with me, Rebecca. Your books sound thrilling. I just sent in my fourth thriller to my publisher. Mine usually have a paranormal twist with a love interest.

Warm Regards,
Julie Achterhoff
