You have to be able to take a hit as a boxer and wait for the time to strike. Description: The New Gods of the Lost Children is a short-story that was first printed in the anthology Time for Bedlam in 2006. It has recently been reprinted in my short story collection Twilight Temptations. I’ve included it here for your review. A social worker discovers that children in a Seattle homeless shelter have a creative imagination and have started telling disturbing new stories of the world.
